Combi vs system vs regular, which boiler fits your home?
Combi boilers heat water on demand and suit 1–2 bathroom homes with one shower running at a time; they free up airing cupboard space and are the most common St Albans swap. System boilers feed a sealed hot water cylinder and are the right pick for 3+ bedroom homes, multiple bathrooms, or anywhere two showers may run at once. Regular (heat-only) boilers use a feed-and-expansion tank in the loft and a hot water cylinder, usually retained in older properties where pipework changes would be intrusive.
